I was in Paris for work and was staying in the 4th arrondissement. After a quick google search about the neighborhood, I found it was once the city's Jewish quarter and very trendy!
My colleague and I did a quick yelp search of the food around and saw this place! After a short 10 minute walk (it was around 10 pm, deserted streets but felt safe), we found the place! There was a crowd of about 25 people outside + a packed inside restaurant.
We ordered the fries, the falafel (what they are known for) and the shawarma.
Overall:
Fries - MASSIVE portion, so share
Falafel- super tasty. Loved that they were smaller balls instead of the massive ones you see here in the states. Great flavor!
Shawarma - good! Wasn't dry. Lots of meat!
If you're ever in Paris, I would definitely make a pit stop here. Great place for late eats!!!! -

I seriously did not expect to try and seek a falafel in France in fact I was against it completely there are too many croissants fondue's quiches and other things to be eating that are French well since it was so close to my hotel I finally broke down and thought how good can a falafel be I've had a million
Firdt of all here's a tip you can go inside and eat but it cost a little more. If you order at the window they make you take your falafel and eat it somewhere else, and since they are so messy I really wish I would have gone inside I did not realize they had an inside dining area.
Believe the hype this was an amazing falafel it was giant and filled with amazing goodies the falafel at Southwest crunchy and perfectly seasoned. I could barely eat a quarter of it I brought it back to my friend at the hotel who devoured the rest cold and agreed it was the best falafel we've ever had. -

When doing research for my trip to Paris, this place came up time and time again but it wasn't until a friend who lived in Paris recommended it that I knew I had to check it out to what the big deal was. I've had some wonderful falafel wraps over the years (and some not so great) so I wasn't really expecting much from this little shop. I arrived around lunchtime on a weekday afternoon and waited in a small line. They make your order at the window so you can watch the whole process unfold which I enjoyed.
The second I got that pita in my hands, I took a huge bite and realized what all the fuss was about. The falafel itself is nothing short of perfection. It is perfectly crisp on the outside which gives way to a soft interior. The sauce they used complimented the sandwich well. The portions were huge considering how much I paid. The only critique I have is the chunks of tomatoes but that's more of a personal issue. -

Almost exactly as I'd remembered it. About 6 euro for a pita overstuffed with crisp balls of not-stodgy falafel, well baked/fried eggplant, and plenty of tahini and (not very spicy) chili sauce. Lots of fresh veg and pickles to break up our days long French feasting. They now have dine-in space if you don't want to take to go. No line at noonish on a Wednesday

At first I was skeptical of it being the o Lu place with over 1700 review compared to all the other in low 100
The food was amazing, I will come back again on my next trips
